Traditional Okinawan Karate At Yamabushikan, six instructors teach Okinawan Martial Arts using principles based on bushindo - "the way of the warrior". Improving yourself and achieving higher rank gives you a sense of accomplishment and greater confidence. Modern life deprives us of the exercise necessary for physical and mental health. The practice of Martial Arts bridges this gap. Our Three Programs The KNEE-HI SAMURAI: This program is taught to children who are between 4 and 6 years of age. The JUNIOR PROGRAM: This program is taught to children who are between 7 and 12 years of age. The ADULT PROGRAM: This program is taught to students over 12 years of age.
